Mother’s Love

When I started painting this piece, the first thing I saw was the woman’s face and all the energy that surrounded her.  Then came a pair of arms stretching down as if to reach for me.  Once these were painted I waited quietly and then on the screen of my mind another set of arms became apparent.  My conscious mind, trying to be logical was telling me that this is not possible, yet I painted them anyway.  Suddenly another pair of arms appeared and another and another, until there was finally no more room on the canvas.

Once the painting was finished I realized that this was “God” or “Mother”, as I choose to call her.  She told me that she had enough hands to reach out to everyone.  All you need to do is ask.
